VietNamNet Bridge – Travellers are advised to go to Tam Coc in the northern province of Ninh Binh this season to see the waterways in the western region, the mountains of the northwest region and the rice fields of the northern region.

Ranked as a special national relic site, the best time to visit Tam Coc is from late May to late June, when the immense rice fields along the Ngo Dong River start to change color from green to yellow.
The Van Lam wharf, where tourists starts their nearly-two-hour journey on the Ngo Dong River. Ticket prices range from VND60,000 to VND100,000 ($3-5).
Known as "Ha Long Bay on land", Tam Coc means three caves, including Ca, Hai and Ba.
The peaceful beauty of the majestic Tam Coc attracts many visitors as well as photographers in early summer.
Tourists flock to Tam Coc every weekend because it is easy to travel there. Only 100 km away from Hanoi, Tam Coc is good for short trips.
There are many foreign tourists.
